PocketLawyer lists professionals with specialization in Legal, Tax, Finance and Secretarial matters.

You can view the years of experience and fee per session charged by these professionals.

You can then connect with them via call and/or meeting in person as per your needs and budget.

For booking a consultation, you first need to make an upfront payment. Once we recieve the payment, we ensure that the professional completes your CONSULT session within the promised timeline.


Why do you charge an upfront payment?

The upfront payment charged is not transferred to the professional’s account immediately.

Instead, PocketLawyer holds it in a separate holding account till the time CONSULT session is complete.

Thus, we make sure that your remains safe with us until you receive full value for your money.

Moreover, this system allows users to get refunds if the consultation is cancelled due to any reason.

The upfront payment also makes sure that professional receive their payments within due time after completing the consultation sessions.


Can I avail consultation as per my schedule?

Yes. PocketLawyer values the time and convenience of its users. You can choose consultation time slots according to the time which suits you best.


What if the professional cancels the consultation due to unavailability?

We maintain strict standards to make sure that such an incident never happens. However, in case of such a rare occurrence, PocketLawyer provides you two options. You can either consult another professional or you can request a full refund by getting in touch with us at info@pocketlawyer.com.


What if I voluntarily cancel the appointment?

If you want to cancel an appointment, you need to send us an email at info@pocketlawyer.com at least 4 hours before the time of consultation. After receiving your email, we will deduct nominal cancellation charges of 15 % and process your refund.

Please note that if you book a consultation within the 4 hour period, you will not be able to cancel the consultation or get a refund.


What if I want to cancel my appointment with the chosen professional and reschedule with another professional?

Same as above. You need to send us an email at info@pocketlawyer.com 4 hours before the time of scheduled appointment. After receiving your email, we will process your request. Please note that in case of a difference between professional fee, you will need to pay the difference.


Do I need to post my review for a service or consultation?

Posting reviews is not compulsory. But we encourage you to do so for two reasons. One, to let the professional know how satisfied you are with their services.Second, to help other users in making an informed decision.


What do I need to write in the review?

There is no specific format for a user review. You can be honest here and speak (write) your mind.

However, to write a review that is useful for others, keep in mind the following.

  • Be honest, but not rude.
  • Express your dissatisfaction in civilized language.
  • Be generous while showing appreciation. It is a huge motivator for the professional.
  • No use of slang.
  • Specify which quality or feature of the service you liked the most.
  • Highlight areas for improvement (if any).

What if I do not get the answer to my query?

You may comment on the answer to a question. However, your comment must add value to the discussion. We reserve the right to delete any Irrelevant, indecent, or obscene comments.

When can I expect my project to be completed and delivered?

Our professional will deliver the documents or files to you after completing the project. Once you receive the documents you need, you need to review the order and select “release payment ”.

The project is considered complete only after you choose to release the payment.

If you are not satisfied with the work, you can request the professional to make necessary changes. But if you do not approve the work or request for changes within 2 days, the project will automatically be considered as delivered.


What if I wish to cancel my project?

PocketLawyer is a neutral marketplace. We do not practice preferred placement of professionals in the search results. The listing of professionals is based on automated computation of various factors. Some such factors are profile completeness, user reviews/recommendations, comments and feedback. Such factors may change from time to time, in order to improve the listing algorithm.
